Jean Guillot was born into a family of wine growers, owners of Château Bouteilley since 1617, established the business that carries his name in 1953. Jean Guillot is currently owned by Jean’s two sons, Jean-Louis Guillot and his brother Christophe. Owning five Chateaus, Bouteilley, Grand Jour, Cap de Fer, Peyrarey, and Maillard, most of them are equipped with state-of-the-art winery equipment specifically designed for efficient temperature control. Patented by the founder himself. Some of their vineyards are designed to allow production of fruit in ideal conditions as well.
