Ferraton Pere & Fils began with one man, Jean Orëns Ferraton in a region basked in sun, the Rhône Valley in 1946. Michel, his son, then inherited the same passion and decided to give a new dimension to his father’s vineyards. The first Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph Ferraton were brought into the world. In 1998, the vineyards were converted to organic viticulture, then certified before embracing the culture of bio-dynamics. Their knowledge has passed to other renowned terroirs of which the harvest is vinified and aged: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Cornas, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône, to name a few.
